About The Position

Educational Systems FCU is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and consumer lending experience. The Loan Quality Coordinator performs a variety of support duties to Consumer Loans. The Loan Quality Coordinator ensures accuracy and completeness of direct and indirect consumer loans including loan documents, loan servicing, collateral protection insurance, lien related issues and funding requirements. In addition, the role performs a variety of support duties related to Consumer Loans such as title maintenance and lien recording in accordance with Educational Systems FCU established policies and procedures and in compliance with all Federal, State, NCUA and other regulatory agency rules and regulations. Moreover, the Loan Quality Coordinator responds to questions and/or provides information upon request from members and Ambassadors to resolve Consumer loan-related issues. The Loan Quality Coordinator files POA's, prepares letter of guarantee, and examines incoming correspondence from Department of Motor Vehicles, vendor partners, and insurance companies. In addition, the Loan Quality Coordinator monitors auditing reports to ensure direct and indirect loan packages are archived and are accurate and complete and complete loan adjustments related to loan extensions, loan modifications, payment and rate adjustments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • At least two years of experience with processing vehicle title liens and releases
  • Ability to pay specific attention to detail for extended periods of time
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be diplomatic respectful and helpful when sharing errors made by colleagues in a non-threatening, constructive manner.
  • Working knowledge of lending operations, loan adjustments and corrections.
  • Highly organized and have the ability to multi-tasks, be proactive and have the ability to work with multiple systems simultaneously
  • Must be a team player who is flexible and dependable.
  • PC proficient including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Basic mathematical skills involving adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, decimals, percentages, fractions etc. required.

  • Associate degree preferred.
