We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Processor to join our dynamic team in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the loan origination process, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of mortgage guidelines, underwriting processes, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to both clients and loan officers.

Requirements

1 year of proven experience in loan processing or related roles within the financial services sector.
Familiarity with mortgage guidelines, servicing, and underwriting practices.
Strong understanding of credit analysis principles and banking operations.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Proficient in basic math and capable of performing calculations accurately.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
Process loans in accordance with company policies.
Collaborate with loan officers to gather necessary documentation for underwriting.
Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility.
Maintain detailed records of all loan processing activities.
Utilize basic math skills for calculations related to loans, escrow, and other financial documents.
Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the loan processing cycle.
