About The Position

Bank of Lexington is seeking an experienced Loan Processor for their Malabu location in Lexington, KY. This is an hourly position requiring 2 years of experience in processing Consumer and Commercial loans. The working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves performing routine operational duties related to residential, construction, and commercial mortgage loans, ensuring compliance with bank policies and federal regulations. The processor will also work with various industry professionals, assist loan officers, originate loan documentation, and manage loan funding and payments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two year working experiences in a customer service position, required
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine operational duties related to residential, construction and commercial mortgage loans in compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures and related laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Works with mortgage and title companies, appraisers, real estate agents and other real estate industry professionals as directed.
  • Assists mortgage loan officers in the loan application process as directed; follows up on obtaining necessary information and documentation from applicants; coordinates the ordering of credit reports, flood zone determinations and UCC filings; and performs title searches, etc.
  • Originates loan documentation and onboards loans; conducts loan funding and processes payments or advances as directed; distributes daily and monthly reports.
  • Assures compliance with all bank policies and procedures as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
  • Carry out such other duties as may be assigned or requested.
  • Reinforces the application of superior customer service through his or her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees.
