About The Position
Cruitin is actively partnering with a respected mortgage industry client to identify an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced lending environment and is passionate about helping borrowers achieve their homeownership goals. Our client is seeking a highly organized Mortgage Loan Processor who can effectively manage loan files from application through underwriting while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service throughout the process.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a Processor
- Experience with conventional, gov and non-QM
- Have a sense of urgency, good attitude, desire to advance career
- Knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations
- Ability to work on-site daily
- Previous experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor or in a related mortgage lending role
- Strong understanding of mortgage lending guidelines, compliance requirements, and loan documentation
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Proficiency with mortgage loan origination and processing systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities
- Review and verify mortgage loan application documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Collect, analyze, and organize borrower financial documentation, including income, assets, credit reports, and supporting records
- Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate a smooth loan process
- Prepare and submit complete loan packages for underwriting review
- Monitor loan progress and proactively address documentation or condition requirements
- Provide timely updates to borrowers and internal teams regarding loan status
- Ensure all files adhere to federal, state, investor, and company lending guidelines
- Maintain accuracy and meet processing deadlines in a high-volume environment
