The Loan Processor Clerk is responsible for the preparation of consumer and commercial loan documents, including real estate (TRID). This role ensures compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures. The clerk will work with loan officers, employees, and third-party vendors to ensure accurate and timely document production. They will also assist customers, loan officers, and employees with various issues via phone and in person, and maintain open communication regarding loan status with the loan department and other required parties. Additional duties include ordering preliminary title policies, UCC searches, Flood Certificates, environmental reports, and other related data, and coordinating with loan officers on any issues. The role also involves assisting in exception processing, including insurance requirements, updated financial statements, credit reports, rent rolls, and other financial information to maintain the servicing file, as well as handling documentation requirements for new loan processing and exceptions on coming due or past due loans. Decision Pro processing, including entering loan information, working the tracking list, and attaching required documents for loan processing using Laser Pro, is also a key responsibility. The clerk will also work/clear loan exceptions and share responsibility for completing all departmental objectives.
