About The Position

As a Loan Origination Specialist in Business Banking, you will be responsible for the review of approvals, documentation and the due diligence to ensure Small Business loans are closed in accordance with the approval as well as documentation preparation to avoid any risk to the client or the bank. You will serve as a primary liaison between the Business Relationship Manager and the Credit Coordinator with respect to collateral, entity and other commercial due diligence.

Requirements

1+ years of experience preparing commercial loan, SBA, or mortgage loan documents required.
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills and PC skills.
Able to communicate well and work independently in a high volume, production-oriented environment.
College degree, paralegal, or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with collateral and entity due diligence related to commercial loans is preferred.

Responsibilities

Reviews commercial credit application packages for adherence to credit policy and determination of appropriate due diligence necessary to ensure proper collateral position.
Reviews business entity and organizational documents to include trust agreements, good standing of business entities, and UCC searches, as required.
Coordinates obtaining or ordering and reviews equipment valuations, as well as other reports and information.
Evaluates all reports and information received with respect to collateral evaluation & verification to determine if terms and conditions of the credit approval will be met.
Prepares the loan documentation and compliance documentation necessary to protect the bank's interest, as necessary.
