Loan Operations Specialist
About The Position
Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the “Best Places to Work” in the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist to join our office onsite in either Novato, California or Rancho Cordova, CA. The Loan Operations Specialist will provide support to the department by completing a variety of duties in the loan operations area and in the absence of department staff. Performs senior level work in addition to providing daily support. Responsible for training Loan Boarding Associates and assist with training of Loan Servicing Associates, providing customer support for internal and external customers, and directing day to day workflows of the department under the direction of the Loan Operations Manager.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years loan servicing/processing in a servicing center as a senior associate who trains others or equivalent related experience.
- 2-3+ years in branch environment demonstrating experience as a senior associate who trains others or equivalent related experience.
- 1+ year experience in writing procedure and training materials.
- 1+ year previous experience in legal and collateral file organization.
- Loan servicing experience is required.
- 2 – 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.
