Performs a variety of duties to support the loan operations function of which the following are illustrative: Scans loan documents onto the computer system. Prepares checks, statements, and notices from the system. Monitors ticklers and provides information for, or assists in the preparation of, various loan reports as directed. Reviews and processes incoming mail; prepares and mails insurance notices. Reviews all documents for accuracy and completeness; contacts appropriate source to clarify or obtain missing information. Tracks and follows up for collateral insurance on all loan applications. Maintains all types of collateral, i.e., MV-38s, titles, insurance, declination records and lien releases. Processes paid loan files, including satisfying of all collateral on paid loans, returning documents to customers, and retention of files in paid loan storage area. Files necessary information to maintain adequate records. Develops a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank loan products and services in order to ascertain customer needs. Provides assistance to customers with specific inquiries or service problems. Maintains a working knowledge of bank products and operating policies and procedures which impact the loan operations function. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate Bank personnel. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other Bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
