The Loan Officer is primarily responsible for making and servicing consumer and commercial loans, both secured and unsecured. Handles both large and small credits. Monitors and manages existing credit relationships which include note renewals, detailed analysis of current financial statements and collateral valuations, credit analysis, cash flow analysis, delinquency reporting, documenting and curing exceptions, covenant monitoring, compiling reports necessary to monitor asset and credit quality, and compliance with BancFirst policies/procedures/regulations. Negotiates loan proposals, analyzes and evaluates credit requests, recommends appropriate credit grade, creates and presents written loan memorandums for credit approval, and implements approval or declination action. Develops new business through identifying and calling on existing or prospective customers, promotes and cross-sells Bank’s services, and works with Bank operations areas to ensure that quality service is provided. Participates in community and professional activities to enhance the Bank’s image and expand personal network of contacts for development of new business. Assists with other job-related duties and special projects as requested. Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position.
