About The Position

Provide exceptional service to our members and expand consumer loan relationships by handling member and indirect loan applications. Accurately and efficiently, process loan applications, from origination through funding.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand credit reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.
Ability to work independently in a non-supervised environment.
Excellent communication skills, customer service, verbal and written communication.
Professional in appearance.
Must be self motivated, detail oriented and highly organized with proven follow-through capabilities.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual preferred English/Spanish
Familiarity with the credit union systems, preferred.
Previous lending experience preferred.
2+ years of lending background preferred.

Responsibilities

Inputting loan applications, review and process online applications.
Complete Consumer Loan Underwriting within assigned personal limits and guidelines.
Scan loan documents into imaging system.
Familiarize with and adhere to Lending & CU policies and procedures.
Responsible for exceptional member service.
Represent the credit union in a courteous, honest and professional manner while maintaining confidentiality with all member data.
Must be able to work independently and handle multiple priorities under pressure of deadlines and time restraints.
Ability to multi-task, set priorities, demonstration proficient attention to details, meet deadlines and be well organized.
Be familiar with and adhere to Consumer Loan rules and regulations.
Other duties and tasks as assigned.
