About The Position

Texell, named one of the BEST credit unions to work for in the nation by American Banker, is seeking a Consumer Lending Consultant to work onsite at our Cedar Park Branch. As a Lending Consultant, you will be passionate about building relationships with members and meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets! You will originate different types of consumer loans (auto, credit cards, personal loans), conducting business via telephone, chat, text, and email. You will have high goals to meet. But trust us - meeting those high expectations come with high rewards. You will be responsible for ensuring all paperwork is complete and correct. Accuracy and attention to detail are imperative.

Requirements

1 – 2 years direct to consumer sales experience, to include a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
Minimum of 6 months’ experience with analyzing credit reports.
Comfortable with commissioned-based roles with aggressive sales targets.
Strong understanding of consumer loan products (auto, recreational, consolidation, personal, credit cards) and services.
Teamwork mentality and a drive to work with others to accomplish not only department, but credit union goals.
Open availability is preferred.
