About The Position

Responsible for managing communications and providing administrative support to Loan Officers (and Branch Manager as necessary) in a fast-paced environment. After 6 months, we will review performance to explore the opportunity for a mentoring position to learn the origination side of the business.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel & Word) and all Windows applications and the ability to learn and work with various Mortgage computerized applications
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills (including spelling/grammar skills), strong organizational skills, follow-up skills, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Must be detail, task and goal oriented
  • Ability to relate and communicate in a professional, personable manner with all levels of management, internal and external contacts
  • Ability to prioritize and perform constantly changing multiple tasks in a very fast paced team environment
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision, self-discipline, self-motivation and self-reliance a plus
  • Excellent attendance history
  • 1-2 years administrative support experience
  • New hires must complete the following training courses: BSM/AML: The Basics, Marketing Compliance, Annual Consumer Complaint Attestation
  • Existing employees must complete the following training courses: BSA and AML: Essentials, Annual Sexual Harassment Training
  • Must be able to navigate throughout the building, travel throughout the community, and physically present self at real estate and other customer offices for marketing purposes.
  • Must be able to hear and communicate well.
  • Must have good eye-hand coordination and finger movement for use in computer software programs.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred
  • Must be willing to take classes and testing to qualify for Federal / State Loan Officer License within first 6 months of employment
  • 1 year Mortgage Industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop all LO correspondence, including but not limited to: Manage birthday card database, Contact FSBO’s with mailings to contact, Develop all Flyers (i.e. listing and marketing), Order postcards for all appraisals, Mail intro letters to all pre-quals, Mail thank you letters to all realtors for referrals, Manage monthly or quarterly newsletter for Los (including set up, mailings, and issuing deadlines for material), Distribute Loan Status reports weekly to realtors, Email weekly rate sheet to realtor database, Call online applicants to obtain all info not provided, Call to report weekly loan status to customers, Follow up with previous pre-quals to maintain contact with customers who have not closed, Thank you letters for business for newly closed clients, Update and maintain closed loan database monthly
  • Attend weekly team meeting and bi-weekly LO meetings
  • Lock in loans while LO’s are in field
  • Order appraisal and title and stack files in submission order on all new files before handing to processor (LO to review before hand off to processor)
  • Manage mortgage returns and top of minds
  • Track UTCs, closings, and lock expirations to meet deadlines
  • Running Credit Reports
  • Taking loan applications/Prequals
  • Inputting loan data from start to finish into E3
  • Running loans through various systems
  • Loan file submission to underwriting
  • Other duties as assigned
