About The Position

We’re a fast-paced, high-volume mortgage operation looking for a sharp, proactive Loan Officer Assistant who can support production, improve turn times, and help close more deals. This role is built for someone who thrives under pressure and knows how to execute. The ideal candidate is the right hand to a top-producing Loan Officer, knows how to keep loans moving, stay ahead of conditions, and manage a pipeline without being asked. Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5+ years of mortgage experience (LOA or similar role)
  • Experience supporting a high-producing Loan Officer or team
  • Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loans
  • Encompass experience strongly preferred
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple files at once
  • Proactive mindset—you don’t wait to be told what to do
  • Strong communication skills with both borrowers and internal teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Loan Officers with a high-volume pipeline from application to closing
  • Taking complete and accurate loan applications (as needed)
  • Structuring files upfront to reduce underwriting conditions and delays
  • Reviewing income, assets, and credit for accuracy before submission
  • Managing borrower communication and keeping clients engaged and informed
  • Following up on conditions, documentation, and third-party items
  • Working closely with Processing to keep files moving
