About The Position

Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for a Loan IQ Consultant. This role is hybrid (2/3 days per week on-site). For out-of-state candidates, it can be remote. This is a 6-month contract with possible extensions or an option to hire. The position sits in the Finance Change the Bank Group and will focus on Finance-related aspects of the implementation. The position will support and interact with Product Control, Accounting, Treasury, IT, Project Management, and Operations. The job requires implementing best practices and streamlining workflows and reporting. The position will assist in the implementation of the Finance Target Operating Model and will require end-to-end testing of the model, ensuring controls are in place. Knowledge of Loan IQ data elements is needed to provide IT with enough requirements to write reports. Understanding current pain points and deficiencies with the ability to provide solutions for improvement is also required. The level of experience should be at a minimum equivalent to Vice President, and the candidate should have experience with Loan IQ Implementations.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience required.
  • 5-7 years’ experience specifically related to Loan IQ experience.
  • Hands-on experience using Loan IQ (preferably been involved in Loan IQ implementations) with ability to execute a wide range of transactions.
  • Knowledge of General Ledger Loan Accounting and LIQ GL Posting Functionality.
  • Knowledge on LIQ Accounting Table setup.
  • Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in US - NO H1 Visa support for this role.

  • Ability to write test cases to validate the LIQ Accounting Table Setup and ability to execute those transactions in LIQ with no supervision.
  • Ability to understand LIQ Accounting output from LIQ Transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Defining Target Operating Model.
  • Working closely with Finance, Technology, Program Management, and Operations on program deliverables.
  • Test case creation/Validation of test cases.
  • Working with Finance owners on execution of test cases.
  • Raising risks/issues/dependencies.
  • Production Release Support.
