About The Position

The Loan Documentation Clerk/Editor position is an onsite role located at BancFirst in Seminole, OK. This full-time position requires working from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed. The role involves communicating loan maintenance and new loan information to OKC, accurately completing transactions such as mailed payments and disbursement/fees, and assisting customers with various issues via phone. Responsibilities also include pulling and reviewing daily/weekly reports, preparing verifications and payoff notices, ensuring accurate and timely imaging of loan documents, reviewing and balancing general ledger accounts, working paid files, preparing payoff statements, and communicating with loan staff. The position shares responsibility for departmental objectives and requires regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and bank Policies and Procedures.
  • Detail oriented, self-starter with a high degree of accuracy and good organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications.
  • Must work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate all required maintenance and new loans to OKC.
  • Accurately complete transactions, including mailed payments and disbursement/fees.
  • Assist customers with various issues by phone.
  • Pull & review daily/weekly reports.
  • Prepare verifications and payoff notices to third parties.
  • Ensure accurate and timely imaging of loan documents according to BancFirst procedures.
  • Review and balancing of general ledger accounts.
  • Work paid files and prepare payoff statements.
  • Communication with loan staff, primarily processors and lenders.
  • Share responsibility for completion of all departmental objectives.
  • Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
