About The Position

The Loan Document Processor position is a back-office position with minimal customer contact. This position will include using loan processing software to process loans, carefully reviewing for any compliance exceptions, and communicating with loan assistants and officers for any additional information needed to process the loan. This position requires a person that is detail oriented.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Advanced PC skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) required.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines required.
  • Ability to multi-task required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team required.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators.
  • Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 6 months previous banking or general accounting experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling high volumes of loan data entry with a high attention to detail in order to identify errors and reach out to loan assistants and/or loan officers to request corrections.
  • Take completed loan applications and export into loan processing software to input information needed to generate loan documents.
  • Carefully review for any compliance exceptions and communicate with loan assistants and officers for additional information needed.
  • Review UCC searches and all state filing UCC’s.
  • Verify all required documents needed are in file.
  • Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
  • Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.
  • Perform other tasks, which may be assigned by the department manager.
