About The Position

As the Loan Boarding Specialist, you are responsible for uploading all loans to Horizon XE accurately, ensuring loan file integrity and demonstrating a thorough knowledge of Bank policies and procedures. In this role, you will maintain a proficient knowledge and understanding of all documentation associated with Consumer, Commercial, Real Estate, Mortgage, SBA loans and participations. As a representative of the Bank, you are required to present a positive and professional image at all times.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Flexibility to work before or after normal business hours as necessary to meet deadlines and the needs of the bank required
Possess working knowledge of basic accounting principals
Possess ability to meet individual deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced and multi-task environment
Display strong time management and organizational skills
Maintain confidentiality, including confidential customer and employee information
Ability to be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task
Possess a high level of energy and strong sense of urgency
Possess proficient computer skills in order to operate various systems and software
Ability to deliver a high level of responsiveness to internal customers
Assume responsibility, display initiative, exercise good judgement, and make and act upon decisions with minimal supervision
Display characteristics of a team player and regularly display a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience in loan operations preferred
Experience with various loan documents preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure all loans, extensions, modifications and renewals are uploaded accurately to Horizon as defined in the service level agreement
Maintain a proficient knowledge and understanding of all documentation associated with consumer, commercial, real estate, mortgage, SBA loans and participations
Perform verification audit of peer’s uploaded loans to ensure accuracy and make necessary corrections
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all Bank procedures, regulations, internal policies and lending regulations
Maintain procedures for all primary duties to ensure they are up to date and accurate
Contributes to a positive work environment by demonstrating accountability, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun
Respond to various requests that come through Service Desk
Maintain compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements
Consistently support, uphold and model the organization’s core values and standards
Complete other duties as assigned as determined by management to be reasonable and beneficial
