About The Position
CS Bank is looking to hire a full-time Loan Assistant. This banking position earns a competitive wage depending on experience. CS Bank is a Community Bank that started in 1912 in Eureka Springs Arkansas. We now have locations in Eureka Springs, Holiday Island, Berryville, Huntsville and Harrison in NWA as well as Cassville, Mo. Come grow with us! The Loan assistant will support commercial lenders in all aspects of the loan process. This position will prepare new loan request to submit to loan processing and review file to verify data is complete and meets established standards. Close loans and prepare for booking. Handle telephone inquiries promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Loan experience in a full service Banking Institution

Responsibilities
- Order supporting documentation
- Corresponds with customers daily during process
- Maintaining the company's accounting practices (e.g., accounts payable and monthly reporting)
- Maintaining daily loan support
- Prequalify clients
- Close loan/fund loan if needed
- Prepare loan package for shipping and booking
- Inform officer of required documentation for loan renewals
- Effectively processing loan requests under minimum level of supervision, by obtaining, verifying, completing, and maintaining the necessary loan documentation
- Handle loan research issues and questions
- Ensures all loan documents are complete, accurate and in accordance with policy
