About The Position

The Loan Accountant will work with our Retail team to record, monitor, and audit accounting items and system information related to loan accounting and the general ledger. Plus provides ongoing and timely support for the Finance and Accounting departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or business management with a minimum of one year’s experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of loan accounting systems and software.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and methods.
• Ability to interpret and apply GAAP.
• Ability to complete tax and regulatory forms.
• Ability to analyze information to form logical and objective conclusions with attention to detail.
• Skilled at using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to create, update, and save various documents.
• Skilled in oral and written communication.
