About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Vertical Lift Division is seeking a motivated and talented Mid-Level Loads and Dynamics Structural Analysis Engineer to join the Future Vertical Lift team in Ridley Park, PA. This role involves performing a wide variety of dynamics-related tasks, including vibration analysis, testing, test planning and reporting, multi-body dynamic analysis, data analysis, rotor smoothing support, equipment qualification, and signal analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

• Masters degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering
• Experience in the application of finite element theory
• Experience using Matlab for data analysis and plotting
• Knowledge of signal analysis in both time and frequency domains

Responsibilities

• Perform vibration analysis using Finite Element Method or theoretical methods
• Conduct natural frequency (RAP) tests
• Wind tunnel and flight test planning, monitoring, and reporting
• Multi-body dynamic analysis
• Data analysis of vibrations and loads
• Conduct Delivery Center Rotor Smoothing operations
