About The Position

Conducts complex loads and dynamics analyses and tests for new and derivative vehicles. Builds complex mathematical models, develops, integrates and documents loads and dynamics requirements to establish system design. Represents the organization and collaborates with engineering groups on significant technical matters regarding loads and dynamics environments. Builds analytical tools and models to guide product design and verifies that the flight vehicle integrates and demonstrates compliance to internal and external specifications and requirements. Leads predictive analyses for aeroelastic stability, flutter, buffet, static and dynamic forces that act on a vehicle. Defines structural, inertial, aerodynamic and systems definition for analyses. Leads development, execution and analyses of tests and reports results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Leads definition and documentation of certification and test results for compliance with customer and regulatory agency requirements. Proposes new standards or new means of compliance. Leads failure investigations for in-service products; identifies and analyzes improvements. Develops new analytical processes and tools. Improves existing technologies, tools and processes to enhance technology readiness, improve vehicle performance, reduce cycle time and cost.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required for U.S. Security Clearance.
