About The Position
We are looking for a motivated and hardworking loader/unloader/warehouse worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of loading and unloading tires for a long period of time and be familiar with basic unloading protocols and safety guidelines. This role involves loading and unloading tires by hand, placing them onto pallets, and moving pallets using a pallet jack or forklift. The goal is to empty 3-4 trailers per day, with pay directly correlated to the amount of weight moved. Top performers can earn between $1100 - $1200 weekly.
Requirements
- Physically capable of loading and unloading tires for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic unloading protocols and safety guidelines.
- Experience in a physically demanding job.
- Must have steel toe or composite toe shoes.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Reliable attendance is required.
- Willingness to stay for the entire shift.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with pallet jacks or forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading tires (50-100 lbs each) off of trailers by hand.
- Placing tires onto appropriately sized wooden pallets.
- Removing pallets using a pallet jack or forklift and placing them in a designated area.
- Repeating the process until the trailer is empty.
- Sweeping the trailer and cleaning the work area.
- Loading/unloading an average of 3-4 trailers per day.
