About The Position

The Loading Dock Coordinator plays a vital role in the efficient operation of the loading dock, ensuring the timely and accurate loading and unloading of supplies to support facility operations. Requirements

Responsibilities

Load and unload cargo from delivery trucks, ensuring accurate handling and placement.
Inspect incoming for accuracy, damage, or loss.
Coordinate the flow of goods between the loading dock and the facility.
Adhere to all regulations and health and safety standards.
Ensure the loading dock area remains clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Participate in safety inspections and report any unsafe conditions or practices.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, including quantities, descriptions, and any noted damage.
Monitor inventory levels as appropriate and notify appropriate personnel of discrepancies.
Address and resolve issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies.
Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and internal staff to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
