About The Position

Responsible for properly packaging and labeling finished products and loading them onto flatbed or enclosed trailers. This role prioritizes safety and efficiency, requiring adherence to training guidelines, policies, and procedures. The position involves maintaining a clean workspace, proactively identifying hazards, and potentially operating material handling equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, and shag tractors and trailers. Accurate completion of paperwork and computer data entry, along with adherence to quality standards and routine machine maintenance, are also key aspects of the role. The ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision is expected.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Properly packaging and labeling finished products.
Loading finished products onto flatbed or enclosed trailers.
Prioritizing safety and efficiency in all tasks.
Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the safety program.
Adhering to training guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Proactively identifying and addressing potential hazards.
Operating overhead crane, forklift, shag tractor and trailer, and other material handling equipment.
Performing all duties in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing required safety equipment.
Keeping work area neat and orderly.
Completing all routine paperwork and computer data entry related to job responsibilities.
Adhering to all quality standards and inspection procedures.
Performing routine maintenance of assigned machines.
Working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.
