About The Position

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team at our Grand Prairie, TX location! This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. Position: Loader Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4:30PM - end of production (plus overtime as needed) Wage: $20.07/hr. + $1.00 per hour shift differential

Responsibilities

Load outbound trailers in accordance with load plans, ensuring safety and weight distribution requirements are met.
Verify product quantities, labels, and destinations to ensure accuracy of shipments.
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect trailers for cleanliness, damage, and proper condition prior to loading.
Secure loads using straps, load bars, and other safety devices as needed.
Maintain clear communication with shipping office and dock leads regarding load status and discrepancies.
Follow all company safety procedures and participate in safety training.
Keep dock area clean, organized, and free of debris or safety hazards.
Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as unloading inbound freight or staging pallets.
Follow all safety requirements
Stage and sort products for loading
Opens and closes dock doors
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
Move materials within the warehouse
May operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed
Scan freights/parts
Complies with all safety requirements
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
