About The Position

Metals USA is seeking a 2nd Shift Loader for our Liberty, MO location. Metals USA is a leading metals processor/distributor in North America, providing a wide range of carbon steel products and services. Metals USA is a solid, growth-oriented company servicing the defense, commercial construction, and road construction and fabrication industries.

Requirements

• Previous operation of material handling equipment is required
• Must be able to read and write legibly
• Must be able to interpret and have good math skills
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment
• Work accurately and in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Verify all material is properly identified and packaged
• Make final inspection prior to the loading of customer material onto the truck
• Ensure all necessary documentation is completed
• Load trucks using necessary forklifts or other lifting equipment
