Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or certification in Process Technology or Advanced Manufacturing (or related field) OR high school diploma or GED with 3+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing role
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be able to complete the training program requirements and pass the required testing
  • Must be able to complete trackmobile railcar mover and groundman railcar switching training
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Must have a Zero-Incident safety mindset
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Good oral and written communication skills. Must be a strong listener with the ability to follow instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Experience with CFR.49 is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and reliable material transfers, DOT shipping compliance, environmental compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Safely load tank trucks, railcars, and ISO containers.
  • Maintain a continuous focus on safe work practices and optimal plant performance for assigned area.
  • Safely operate loading equipment, including pumps, totalizer meters, and other plant equipment within safe operating ranges using proper PPE.
  • Monitor tank levels, displays, and instrumentation; safely and quickly respond to issues.
  • Handle stressful situations and react promptly and safely.
  • Safely start up, shut down, and adjust operations processes.
  • Climb ladders to access equipment and vessels.
  • Draw product samples for lab testing.
  • Reject trucks if requirements dictate.
  • Perform minor maintenance work on equipment.
  • Initiate work permits.
  • Active participation and compliance with the site Total Safety Process.
  • Participation on the site fire crew and the site rescue crew, if needed.
