About The Position

Responsible for properly packaging and labeling finished products and loading them onto flatbed or enclosed trailers. This role prioritizes safety and efficiency, requiring adherence to training guidelines, policies, and procedures. The Loader will maintain a clean and organized workspace, proactively identify and address potential hazards, and may operate various material handling equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, and shag tractors and trailers. Accurate completion of routine paperwork and computer data entry is essential, along with adherence to all quality standards and inspection procedures. Routine maintenance of assigned machines is also part of the responsibilities. The position requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Properly packaging and labeling finished products.
• Loading finished products onto flatbed or enclosed trailers.
• Prioritizing the well-being of colleagues and contributing to the safety program.
• Adhering to training guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Proactively identifying and addressing potential hazards.
• Operating overhead crane, forklift, shag tractor and trailer, and other material handling equipment.
• Performing all duties in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing required safety equipment.
• Keeping work area neat and orderly.
• Completing all routine paperwork and computer data entry related to job responsibilities.
• Adhering to all quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Performing routine maintenance of assigned machines.
• Working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.
• Creating a collaborative, safe and hazard free environment driven by employee involvement.
• Leading departmental continuous improvement projects.
• Supporting and executing all safety and health policies and programs.
• Conducting employee training and incident investigations.
