About The Position

Keep our communities fed. Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors and communities. As a Loader, you will move pallets of merchandise from staging areas and load proper trailers. Earn $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Certified forklift and pallet jack operator.
• Demonstrates commitment and ability to work safely.
• Show reliability and maintain satisfactory attendance.
• Produce quality work.
• Ability to maintain required productivity/work expectations.
• Ability to operate required materials handling equipment (MHE).
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Fall protection training and using proper fall protection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensure damage is avoided.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Inspect trailer for damage before loading.
• Utilize RF handhelds and/or voice to verify loading of pallets.
• Wrap pallet and stretch wrap.
• Operate battery changing hoist.
• Keep work area clean.
• Complete inspection forms on equipment operated.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
