About The Position
The Loader moves finished product from the cooler or freezers and loads it onto a truck for transport to the customer. The loader may also be asked by the assigned supervisor to aid in various other cooler/shipping/warehouse related duties.
Requirements
- Must be familiar with products and associated product codes.
Nice To Haves
- Previous poultry processing experience
Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jack in a safe and courteous manner while moving finished product onto trucks.
- Pallets must be transported in a manner that does not damage product packaging or dishevel pallets.
- Must be able to operate a scan gun so that product labels can be scanned for billing purposes.
- The loader must be able to read customer orders on a pick list and fill truck to order.
- Other duties as assigned
