About The Position

This is a part-time position with day/afternoon shifts. The starting rate is $22.79 per hour, increasing to $23.34 after 520 hours of employment. The role involves operating a loader machine, ensuring a continuous and safe flow of product, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Must be able to document all required information accurately and legibly.

Responsibilities

Abide by the company's Health and Safety policies and GMP policies.
Work safely around moving equipment and machinery.
Know where the emergency stop buttons are located.
Move pallets of eggs to the loader conveyor.
Remove the top layer of empty trays and place them on the appropriate stack.
Move stacks of eggs (normally 6 trays high) from the pallet to the loader conveyor, ensuring correct orientation and avoiding spaces to keep the conveyor full.
Remove pallet board dividers after every layer and place them on the appropriate stack.
Operate the pallet lift to the desired working height as the egg pallet height changes.
Remove empty pallets and place them on the appropriate pallet stack.
Move the next full pallet of eggs to be graded to the loader conveyor.
Use a numbered magnetic ball to indicate when eggs from another producer are being loaded, ensuring the antenna and light function correctly to detect new bench counts. Notify supervisor if the bench count is not effective.
Remove and save producer tags when they are on a pallet to be loaded.
Know the sequence of pallets to load onto the grading machine and avoid mixing different producer lots.
When an unscheduled stoppage occurs, check the code at the loader screen and take corrective action, ensuring all out-of-place egg trays are removed. Close safety gates and lids, then press reset for the loader to resume production.
Immediately inform the supervisor and then the mechanic if the same error code persists.
If equipment breakdown is of some duration, determine if supervisor or maintenance personnel require assistance. If not, use the time for clean-up or perform other assigned duties.
