About The Position
Custom Assembly, Inc. specializes in the assembly, warehousing, and distribution of recreational vehicles. We are a family run organization that has been in business for 30+ years. This role involves the daily tasks of safely operating forklift equipment and manually moving materials to and from storage, and loading and unloading trailers. The Loader will also be responsible for reading and executing load plans, staging units and materials for counting and inspection, ensuring shipping reports accurately reflect shipped units and materials, securing units with strapping to prevent damage or shifting during transit, and accurately completing receiving reports for all units and materials received.
Requirements
- 2 years warehouse experience
- Forklift driving certification/experience
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift equipment and manually move materials to and from storage.
- Load and unload trailers.
- Read and execute the load plan.
- Stage units and materials for counting and inspection.
- Ensure shipping reports accurately report units and material shipped.
- Secure units with strapping to prevent unit damage or shifting in transit.
- Accurately complete receiving reports for units and material received.
