About The Position

This role involves performing various tasks to support shipping, receiving, and production operations. Key responsibilities include adhering to safety rules, maintaining clean workspaces, reading and interpreting work orders and shipping/receiving documents, accurately completing paperwork, and monitoring conveyor lines. The position requires loading units into trailers or storage, verifying load tags and counts, inspecting units for damage, and securing strapping. Additionally, the role involves delivering sheets and in-process units to production areas, performing receiving duties, maintaining inventory records, and stretch wrapping specified units. Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.

Requirements

A high school diploma (or GED) is required.
One to two years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required.
Willingness to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules and maintain clean, organized workspaces, trailers, and storage areas.
Read and interpret factory work orders and shipping/receiving documents.
Accurately complete tally sheets, maintain organized paperwork, and generate bills of lading.
Monitor conveyor lines, remove units, and load them into trailers or storage.
Verify load tags and unit counts and inspect units for damage and secure strapping.
Deliver sheets and in-process units to production areas.
Perform receiving duties and maintain accurate inventory records.
Stretch wrap specified units and ensure trailers are clean and ready for product loading.
Perform other duties as assigned to support shipping, receiving, and production operations.
