About The Position

The Loader/Packer Operator is responsible for producing a quality product in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves manufacturing steel automotive parts using automated and hand transfer presses, robotics welders, and other assigned machinery. The operator must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and instructions, including those related to health and safety legislation. Key responsibilities include ensuring the quality of parts produced, maintaining a clean workstation, and safely operating all required equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum grade 12 diploma.
• Previous factory or related work experience (e.g., construction, farming).
• Ability to stand for entire shift.
• Ability to lift moderate weight to shoulder height.
• Ability to carry out repetitive motions with wrists and forearms.
• Familiarity with automotive/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely operate all equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Work and dress safely, including wearing proper protective equipment and demonstrating safe use of all machinery and equipment.
• Adhere to all relevant company policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Be familiar with and follow all required procedures.
• Manufacture steel automotive parts using automated and hand transfer presses, robotics welders, and other machinery as assigned.
• Be responsible for producing quality parts and ensuring parameters outlined on the quality in Process Inspection Report QA III are followed.
• Be responsible for safely carrying out assigned duties in accordance with the Health and Safety Policy and Government legislation, ensuring the safety of oneself and co-workers.
• Ensure cleanliness of workstation at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
