About The Position

Copart, Inc. is a global leader in online vehicle auctions. The Loader Operator will be responsible for moving and loading vehicles using a company-provided front-end loader or forklift. This role also involves maintaining documentation of vehicle movement, performing daily pre and post-trip inspections of assigned machinery, and ensuring a safe work environment by adhering to company guidelines for loader operation. The Loader Operator will facilitate the Copart experience by understanding company policy and offering solutions to meet customer needs. They will ensure equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts, operate company equipment safely, and assist with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles. Accurate and legible recording of vehicle information, operation of digital cameras or other documentation devices, and timely yard setup for auctions are also key responsibilities. The role requires providing service to customers as needed, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor, and following yard guidelines for safety. The operator must be able to load and unload vehicles, pass training and safety requirements, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

HS diploma or GED preferred.
At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
One year of loader or forklift experience, certification preferred.
Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Positive attitude/High Integrity.
Ability to operate heavy equipment.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.

Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

Moving and loading vehicles with a company-provided front-end loader or forklift.
Maintaining documentation of vehicle movement around the facility.
Performing daily pre and post-trip inspections and associated documentation of their assigned machine.

Following yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.e. speed limits, etc.).
Loading and unloading vehicles as required.
Passing training and safety requirements.
