About The Position

At SRM Concrete, we are looking for hands-on, hard-working people to join us as Loader Operators. This role involves operating powerful front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant, ensuring our concrete production and operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in their work, enjoys operating heavy machinery, and is committed to safety and efficiency.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License.
Commitment to safety for oneself and the team.
Ability to check equipment and perform basic fixes.
Team player with good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Physically capable of performing a job that requires movement in various weather conditions.
Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.
Adherence to the 5 Principles of Service: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, and Go-Getter.

Nice To Haves

Experience running loaders or other heavy machinery.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant.
Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
Collaborate with the crew and production team to maintain schedules.
Perform pre- and post-shift equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
Adhere to all safety rules and wear required safety gear.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with inventory counts.
Contribute ideas for process improvement.
Provide support to teammates and assist with various tasks as needed.
