About The Position

The Inventory Specialist role is responsible for managing the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. This includes documenting vehicle condition using company-provided tools, completing a full inventory, and taking supporting photographs of each vehicle. The Inventory Specialist will also direct traffic flow in the receiving area based on priorities to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory. Furthermore, the role involves understanding Copart policy to offer solutions that meet customer needs and facilitate the Copart experience.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude
Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices
Driver's license
Bilingual skill

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area.
Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
Determine operational capability of motor vehicles
Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
Maintain inventory of all materials used.
Compliance to company policies and procedures
Compliance to safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
