About The Position
At SRM Concrete, we are looking for hands-on, hard-working people to join us as Loader Operators. This role involves operating powerful front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant, ensuring our concrete production and operations run smoothly. The position requires loading and unloading trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors, and working closely with the crew and production team to maintain schedules. Safety is paramount, involving pre- and post-shift equipment checks, adherence to all safety rules, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role also includes assisting with inventory counts and contributing ideas for continuous improvement. Flexibility and a willingness to assist wherever needed are key aspects of this position.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Commitment to safety for oneself and the team.
- Ability to check equipment and perform basic fixes.
- Team player with good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Physically capable of performing a job that requires movement in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant.
- Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
- Collaborate with crew and production teams to maintain operational schedules.
- Perform pre- and post-shift equipment checks and report any necessary repairs.
- Adhere to all safety rules and wear required safety gear.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts.
- Share ideas with plant leaders for process improvement.
- Provide assistance to teammates and help with various tasks as needed.
