The Loader Operator will be responsible for moving and loading vehicles using a company-provided front-end loader or forklift. This role also involves maintaining documentation of vehicle movement, performing daily pre and post-trip inspections of assigned machinery, and ensuring a safe work environment by adhering to company guidelines for loader operation. The Loader Operator will utilize a thorough understanding of Copart policy to facilitate the Copart experience and meet customer needs. This includes ensuring equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts, operating company equipment safely, assisting with equipment maintenance, accurately recording vehicle information, operating digital cameras or other documentation devices, setting up yards for auctions within company timelines, and providing customer service as needed. A positive and professional demeanor is expected, along with adherence to yard guidelines for safety, such as speed limits. The role requires the ability to load and unload vehicles, pass training and safety requirements, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

HS diploma or GED preferred.
At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
One year of loader or forklift experience, certification preferred.
Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Positive attitude/High Integrity.
Ability to operate heavy equipment.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Occasional O.T. as needed.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

Moving and loading vehicles with a company-provided front-end loader or forklift.
Maintaining documentation of vehicle movement around the facility.

Operating digital camera or other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices.

Following yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.e. speed limits, etc.).
Loading and unloading vehicles as required.
Passing training and safety requirements.
Performing other duties as assigned.
