Requirements
- Safety first attitude required
- Previous experience operating front end loader and maintenance
- Able to provide and maintain proper licensure and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background and pre-employment drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of plant operation, conveyor systems, and maintenance
- Good mechanical, troubleshooting and communication skills
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others and follow directions
- Equipment operation skills helpful
Responsibilities
- Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained
- Safely and properly operate and perform maintenance on loader, and other equipment
- Keep concrete plant fed for maximum production
- Load trucks with road materials up to legal hauling weight limit
- Maintain smooth, level haul roads and contaminate free aggregate piles
- Inspect material, check gradation quality, oversize rocks, contaminants
- Check for spillage on plant floor and clean up daily (assist with shoveling spillage)
- Check for worn out flashing on plant that could lead to spillage
