About The Position
Luck Stone Bull Run Plant is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate is skilled in operating heavy equipment safely in a construction or quarry environment, is punctual, and possesses strong communication skills to interact with drivers and plant associates.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a loader in a quarry or large construction site environment is necessary.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have a team-oriented, positive outlook toward work and accomplishing goals.
- Must be punctual.
- Hours 6am-4pm.
Nice To Haves
- Other heavy equipment operation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of the vehicle.
- Load trucks in a safe and accurate manner.
- Communicate with truck drivers to ensure appropriate positioning for loading.
- Builds piles and ramps.
- Ensures vehicle receives proper maintenance.
- Willingness to assist with projects and activities other than heavy equipment operation around the site when needed.
- Prioritizes safety throughout the site for self and others.
- Aids coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift.
