About The Position

SRM Concrete is looking for hands-on, hard-working people to join them as Loader Operators. This role involves operating heavy equipment to move materials around the plant, loading and unloading trucks, and working with the production team to ensure smooth operations. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Requirements

Experience running loaders or other heavy machinery is preferred, but training is available for willing learners.
Valid Driver's License.
Commitment to safety and willingness to report unsafe conditions.
Ability to check equipment and perform basic fixes.
Team player with good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Physically capable of performing a job that requires constant movement in various weather conditions.
Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.
Adherence to SRM's 5 Principles of Service: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, and Go-Getter.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement.
Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
Collaborate with the crew and production team to maintain schedules.
Perform pre- and post-shift equipment checks and report any necessary repairs.
Adhere to all safety rules and wear required safety gear.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with inventory counts.
Contribute ideas for process improvement.
Provide assistance to teammates and help with demanding tasks as needed.
