About The Position

The position follows standard work instructions and practices for safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. The role will be responsible for uploading machined wheels from 083 Machining Line while loading appropriate wheels to the 067 Paint Line. Essential Functions within the department Inspect quality of wheels ; Detect defects in paint and metal , any b urrs , etc. Understand Kanban Process & Flow Disposition pallets and trays Equipment and Hand Tools O perated: Power switch to pretreatment line Various hand tools for 5s Trouble shoot pretreatment process and advise

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Reading, writing, and math skills
• Motor coordination
• Eye-hand-foot coordination
• Color discrimination/distinction
• Must exercise extreme caution when handling molten aluminum

Responsibilities

• Uploading machined wheels from 083 Machining Line
• Loading appropriate wheels to the 067 Paint Line
• Inspect quality of wheels
• Detect defects in paint and metal, any burrs, etc.
• Understand Kanban Process & Flow
• Disposition pallets and trays
• Operate power switch to pretreatment line
• Operate various hand tools for 5s
• Troubleshoot pretreatment process and advise
