About The Position

This role is responsible for safely loading and unloading designated trailers and/or routes, ensuring the load matches documentation, and reporting any product damages. The position also involves maintaining organization of finished goods in the yard and adhering to safety regulations such as LOTO and OSHA requirements. The job requires effective communication skills and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least two years Shipping/Receiving/or Manufacturing environment experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and team members.
• Ability to wear Hard hat/Safety Glasses and all other required Safety apparel.
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heights for prolonged periods.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds periodically.
• Ability to work near others and in tight spaces occasionally.
• Ability to work in high heat/high cold conditions.
• Ability to work in Low Light/High light conditions.
• Ability to adjust to a changing physical environment and maintain strong ergonomic safety decision making.

Responsibilities

• Safely loads and unloads designated trailers and/or routes.
• Confirms the load matches the documentation (pick ticket or invoice).
• Reports damages to the products during loading immediately to the Yard Foreman, Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintains all finished goods organized and accessible when working on the yard.
• Follows LOTO and OSHA requirements outlined by the EHS department and based on the Standard Operating Procedures for this equipment.
• Communicates and escalates equipment failure or malfunctions to the maintenance team immediately.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
