About The Position

The Load Builder works under the direction of the transportation supervisor and performs duties related to creating loads to be dispatched to transportation carriers. This role involves reviewing available products/sales orders to create loads to ship, communicating clearly and effectively using telephone and written instructions, entering move requests for items to be transported, and maintaining accurate data collection. The Load Builder will perform tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures, with limited opportunity for exercising independent judgment and decision making.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• Knowledge of products being shipped (boats, motors, trailers, parts, etc.)
• Strong PC literacy (MS Word, MS Excel)
• Organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task, answer emails and phone calls in timely manner
• Knowledge of AS400, willingness to learn new systems for order entry & load building
• Willing to work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience in boat industry preferred
