About The Position

Central Valley is a leading family-owned and operated building supply company with eight locations throughout Northern California. Central Valley has been recognized as one of the Best Places to work in the North Bay by the North Bay Business Journal. The company is currently seeking a Load Builder for its Woodland facility. This role involves performing routine loading and unloading of materials within the yard and warehouse, as well as assembling load packages onto trucks for delivery to customer job sites, with a strong emphasis on safety.

Requirements

• 2-years’ Forklift experience
• Basic math skills
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Manual dexterity

Nice To Haves

• Lumber and/or building materials experience desired

Responsibilities

• Reads and correctly pulls material listed on pick tickets.
• Loads and unloads materials for delivery.
• Operates and maintains forklift and other equipment safely.
• Identifies and locates the various types of materials carried in the yard and warehouse.
• Ensures that all materials are safely secured for delivery.
• Accuracy in pulling product and building loads.
• Counts and checks the quality and condition of all outgoing products.
• Keeps outside yard clean and secure.
