Load Assembler and Inspector: 1st Shift

About The Position
Load Assemblers check shipment against orders and assures the shipment is supported to load specifications; also responsible for final inspection of quality. Reading Truck has more than 65 years of industry leadership in the manufacture, distribution, and enhancement of work truck bodies. We continue to experience rapid growth through our expanding network of more than 20 locations across North America.
Requirements
- Knowledge of pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies is a plus though not a requirement
Responsibilities
- Crafts braces and supports for shipment to load specifications and requirements
- Assembles orders for shipment
- Count, weigh and check shipment against shipping order and report shortages
- Label and secure truck bodies
- Final inspection for quality and appearance of equipment
