About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking a compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant to provide one-on-one care to seniors in their homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Requirements

• Current CNA or LNA license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities, professionally or personally.
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.
• Genuine enjoyment of helping others.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Active automobile insurance required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in and out and complete documentation.

• Dementia and Alzheimer's care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Run errands and grocery shop.
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities.
• Document care using a smartphone application.
• Promote each client's safety, comfort, and independence.
