Job Summary Days 5:30am -6pm Salary Range: $19.47 -$31.09. Pay is based on experience Summary Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility. Assists with obtaining and recording patients’ vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]
Nursing Assistant [LNA - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board of Nursing required
Experience working in Critical Care, Acute Care 1-2 years preferred
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Strong patient/customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Proficient computer skills to work efficiently with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

Accurately obtains and records vital signs, weights, heights, intake, and output within established timeframes and/or as requested.
Completes all required documentation in the medical record accurately and timely.
Interacts effectively and professionally with patients and their families.
Assists patients with basic hygiene and activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
Assists patients with turning and repositioning in bed as needed.
Assists patients with transfers between the bed, wheelchair, and other designated areas as appropriate.
Listens to patients’ health concerns and promptly reports observations or concerns to the nursing staff.
