About The Position

We are seeking a licensed LMHC or Psychologist to provide behavioral health services across multiple post-acute care facilities in the Lakeland-Bartow area. The role involves conducting daily rounds, assessing and treating patients, collaborating with facility staff and the Psych division team, and providing accurate diagnoses, consultations, education, and follow-up care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexible hours. Employment is W2.

Requirements

Active, in-good-standing Florida license, or registration as a Florida Registered Intern.
Must be an LMHC/LSW in Florida.
Current National Board Certification.
Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure quality patient care.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

Nice To Haves

Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Examine patients and document medical history.
Adhere to established charting protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Submit healthcare plans and patient goals for periodic physician review.
Educate patients on disease prevention, hygiene, and diet.
Refer patients to specialists as needed.
Report deaths and contagious diseases in accordance with government regulations.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Conduct daily rounds and provide patient assessments, treatment, consultations, education, and follow-up care.
Collaborate with facility staff and the Psych division team.
